Its wonderful to grow your own food, and preserve this food to eat in the winter months. But man, does it take up your summer social calendar. Its a good thing we have such good helpers....
This is the whole family shucking, silking, cutting off, and finally freezing corn. This is what we do all summer long, moving from vegetable to vegetable. This week was corn. Next week will be something else.
