Making Butter

Yes, we do in fact, make our own butter. Jess and Edwin helped us one Sunday (the first time we made butter). We churned for about 3 hours, until JoJo got there. She poured off half of our cream and then had butter in 2 minutes (apparently we had too much in the churn...who knew). We still have a lot to learn at these attempts to do things "the old way" (as JoJo says).

Anyway, the babies LOVED the adventure, so we try to make our own butter about once a month. Its a good way for the monkeys to see "how JoJo used to do it".
