Josie is at an age where she is very eager to learn. Jess (our school teacher) gave Josie WikkiStix for her birthday. They are really cool pieces of wax made into long sticks that stick to a piece of paper.
I work from home in the afternoons, and Josie's naps get shorter and shorter, so we have had to come up with creative ideas for her to entertain herself while I work.
Wikkistix entertain us for a good hour or so and she's learning in the process. She knows almost all of her alphabet (and whose name starts with which letter). Its amazing how much they absorb at this age.
