You've heard us say that we like to do a lot of things the old fashioned way. For Wes's birthday party, we made homemade peach ice cream. It just tastes better. (No, this isn't a hand churn...we don't have time for that).
And like anything we do, we try to get the babies involved. They LOVE helping us mix the ingredients in the kitchen and then "magically" turning it into ice cream.
Now, if we could just get volunteers to eat the leftovers, we'd be golden. The half and half and heavy whipping cream used to make it aren't on our "eating healthy" list.
