Schools Out for the Summer

You may remember this post about Josie and Wes's first day of school. My how that's been so long ago.

Josie has been to preschool or Mothers Morning Out programs for the last 2 years. It was old news for her. She LOVED going even before this school year started. Her teachers were great and taught her so very much.

She became Ms. Bev's special helper (mostly cause she's a mother hen).

And Ms. Linda loved teaching Josie all of her letters and numbers.

This, however, was Wes's first year at preschool. He was a little more apprehensive about school at the beginning, but with the help of some special ladies, he fell in love too.
Ms. Hattie told us at the beginning of the year that she loved teaching this age because they changed SO MUCH during the course of the school year. At the beginning of the year, Wes walked straight into his class, hid in a corner and played with his trucks for the entire 3 hours.
When we picked him up at the end of the school year, he was playing with other kids, singing songs, and learning his colors.
Thanks Ms. Amanda for your special help.

We appreciate all that the teachers did for Josie and Wes this year. Especially teaching them all about God's love for his children.
We couldn't have asked for better teachers for the monkeys!
