Christmas Shows

Josie and Wes are finished are now on their Christmas breaks. Its hard to believe that the first half of the "school year" is over. Right before the break, both Josie and Wes participated in their Christmas programs at school. They had two separate programs, so we got to hear the good news of the Christmas story twice in a 2 day span. :)

You may remember from last year, that Josie did not participate very well in her debut performance. Wes happily (or not so happily) followed in his sister's footsteps. For the most part he stood in the back with his head cocked to the side and his finger in his ear (I have no idea). He did finally ring the bells when they handed them out. It is hard to resist ringing bells after all...no matter how shy you are.

Josie, however, really took to her Christmas program this year. She sang her heart out (hand motions and all). You can see her on the front row with the red hat in the pictures.

It really is great to hear our children telling the Christmas story through the songs they work so hard to learn. We are very proud of both of our children for everything they learn in school...especially when they learn (and retell through song) the real Christmas story.
