Deer Season

Pops is an avid deer and turkey hunter, and a lot of times, he will drop the monkeys off at school and go straight into the woods. 

That said, hunting gets discussed a lot in our house.  The kids know all about killing animals for meat (having the chickens helps with this explanation), and they've been begging Pops to take them hunting this season (sans guns of course).

So far, Pops pretends like he doesn't hear them when they ask.  BUT, just in case, they've been practicing their hunting skills.  I think its the "quiet" part that Pops is worried about in the woods though.
